BowTiedPickle (Co-Founder & Solidity)

BowTiedPickle is a smart contract engineer and auditor with broad experience designing, building, and operating DeFi protocols. Over the last 3 years, his experience spans across various sectors of the blockchain world, including DeFi protocols, NFT projects, and GameFi games. He has a track record of securely managing millions of dollars of assets. Beyond his technical contributions, BowTiedPickle is also an avid writer, dedicated to educating the community about the nuanced risks and security considerations within the cryptocurrency domain.

BowTiedLaplace (Co-Founder & Frontend)

BowTiedLaplace has a PhD in Pure Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics from the University of Cambridge. Previously he developed scalable machine learning algorithms in areas such as drug discovery for pharmaceutical and health care startups. This included been involved in major publications with leading statisticians from the University of Oxford. During last 3 years he has worked as contractor for various DeFi projects, as a fullstack developer and assisting in the management of tech teams.

Jay (Business Development)

Jay is a Web3 Business Development specialist with a Business degree from Nanyang Technological University. With four years of experience in the blockchain industry, he led business development at MUX Protocol and served as the Ecosystem Lead at Botanix Labs until recently. He will lead the Business Development and Marketing efforts for Spindle.

Zug (Solidity)

A Computer Scientist and Solidity Developer at Spindle Finance, brings a unique blend of technical prowess and real-world blockchain application experience to our team. His distinguished career includes collaborating with his country's government to integrate blockchain technology into governmental processes. This pioneering work has significantly enhanced the efficiency of public services.

BowTiedFirefox (Backend)

BowTiedFirefox is a seasoned frontend engineer, boasting over 8 years of experience in navigating the realms of web2. During this period he was involved in building fintech platforms and dealing with large datasets. Last few years he has transitioned into actively contributing to active DeFi projects such as honey.finance.

Vaun Blue (Frontend)

Vaun Blu, is a web2 fullstack developer and software engineer of over 3 years. He brings a UI/UX focus to the team. During his career he was involved with building and managing custom software used to power the sites of over 35 clients. Over the last year he has moved into the web3 space and contributed to various NFT and SaaS products such as Mochi Circle, helping to align user flows and provide accessible interfaces.

M1

M1 is a neuroscience graduate from the University of Cambridge with over five years of hands-on experience in software engineering, specializing in backend development with a strong focus on performance optimization and security. His career started with freelance projects in the healthcare and automotive industries, where he built a solid technical foundation. Passionate about innovation, M1 has since launched several ventures that harness AI, including a successful SaaS application. His interest in DeFi deepened during his tenure at a boutique venture capital firm, where he gained insights into the applications of blockchain technology. At Spindle Finance, M1 is a backend engineer, dedicated to developing the off-chain infrastructure that powers the company's DeFi solutions.

0xGreatApe (Marketing)

0xGreatApe, a seasoned entrepreneur and community management expert, has been a vibrant presence in the crypto world since 2017. His journey began as an enthusiastic user and investor, which naturally evolved into a deeper involvement within the industry. With a rich background in launching and growing startups, 0xGreatApe possesses a keen sense for what drives community engagement and business development in the fast-paced crypto environment. His experience is marked by a successful track record of building and nurturing online communities, especially within the dynamic realms of GameFi and DeFi projects.

Dramaticusz (Legal)

A seasoned attorney with over a decade of experience navigating the complex terrains of privacy, technology, crypto taxes, and regulatory compliance. Leading a specialized boutique law firm, Dramaticusz has provided expert legal counsel to a diverse clientele, including crypto investors, blockchain projects, and organizations with a strong focus on privacy and anonymity.
